Black can be used in any room, in any style. The reality is that at least a little bit of black is essential in every room. It's dramatic, stylish, and provides a grounding effect that is necessary for every interior. Just like a coating of mascara on the eyelashes, black enhances the colours and shapes around it.

Black can be masculine, feminine, serious, fun, severe, or romantic. It's all about how you use it.

Rules for Decorating With Black and White:

Use an accent colour in a black room to punch it up and keep it from being too stark. Anything goes. Add a bold pink or orange for excitement, baby blue or green for softness, or try gold or silver for glamorous sophistication mirrored furniture and crystal accents are also great for that! Think of a black room as you would a little black dress. It's a great foundation but you need accessories to give it life. Plan your room as you would an outfit.

If your bedroom designing is with black and white be sure to use a mixture of large, small, and medium-scale patterns along with solid black and solid white to create visual interest and depth.

Take your bedroom from dull to beautiful with the simple and encouraging advice:

Colour Is Key:

Always start by choosing a colour for the bedroom. Decide on the mood or tone you want to set in the bedroom, then choose a colour that reflects that feeling. Don't be afraid of strong colour, But if you prefer neutral walls, choose one accent wall in your bedroom on which to add colour, even if it's with wallpaper. Or, simply add colour by painting an old piece of furniture in your bedroom a fun colour, a pop of colour by painting the ceiling."

Clear the Clutter:

Decorators also advise that clutter disturbs the relaxing or romantic vibe. An uncluttered room helps you instantly feel calmer when walking into a bedroom. I urge clients to reduce clutter that naturally finds its way onto bedroom furniture. A bedroom filled with lots of small objects makes the eye dart around the room. “One large item on a chest of drawer, bookcase, or table makes a bedroom visually more relaxing. I like to bring in large headboards into a bedroom. “Having a headboard that nearly reaches the ceiling makes a bedroom feel grand and luxurious.” You wouldn't need many more decorative items in a bedroom when the focus is on the headboard.

Selecting an Upholstered Headboard:

Many designer bedrooms have big, beautiful upholstered headboards as a key design element. That's because it's an easy way to create focus, depth, and texture in the room. Use these tips when selecting a plush headboard:

- Go for a tufted headboard for maximum texture.

- A headboard covered in velvet adds an opulent and classy look.

- For flexibility, choose a neutral hue for your headboard so it'll work with any colour bedding.

Little Things Count:

Keep your bedding a solid colour, preferably white or brown. "But change the accent pillows and beddings with the seasons and moods". Include nature in your bedroom, "A simple orchid or a potted tree is a beautiful, purifying, and soothing touch that goes with every style of decor."

Interior designing when thoughtfully-styled and artfully done it motivates, stimulates and inspires us each and every day, as well as showcases our unique personality to anyone we invite over.

If you want to make a true reflection of your personal style, I would like to give you some useful tips for personalizing your home. #interiordesign, #tipsforinteriors

Wallpaper, Texture paint :

Wallpaper is a major resurgence in interior designing, and it’s a killer way to transform the look of your Apartment in a simple and cost-effective way. There’s a ton of super chic, rustic, contemporary removable wallpaper that can work design magic to any space.

Lighting :

Lighting carries a lot of importance in the overall interiors and vibe of the space that quickly and completely transforms your aesthetic. Lighting to a room is a cheap way to brighten up a drab space. When lighting a room, think in layers from top to bottom.

False ceiling lighting is a given if not lamps can provide a soft glow or task lighting, but do not neglectaccent lighting to highlight art, wall décor or any sculpture.

Rugs instantly warm up interior space and is also a killer way to showcase your personality. Rugs have a knack for tying a design together, so whether you’re adding a rug where there wasn’t one or swapping yours out for a new one, it's a no-fail way to infuse your look with new life. Anding the beauty of this idea is that there are endless varieties to choose from that will add warmth and intrigue to your look while some monochrome colour rugs bring definition to space so find one that's perfectly suited to your style sensibility.  Sometimes you can layer two rugs for a trendy touch in bedrooms. IKEA is best known for its cheap, assemble-it-yourself furniture, but it has a great rug selection — no assembly required!

These rugs are very affordable and offer a mix of traditional and trendy designs to suit many different apartments.
